The Best of Breed Solution in EEC Performance Tuning
Slower Traffic Keep Right, is a two man team, my
partner is the engineer [and is awesome!!!] and I handle most of everything else
[I am NOT awesome...]. Troy and I "bumped" into each other via
email, when he had a question regarding my StreetDyno software, since he was an
engineer and I was trying to implement a ROM Emulator to plug into my C&M
harness -- I asked him a FEW questions. Well as luck would have it, he had
a blown 86 GT which had converted to mass air......we were off an running!!!
Building on some excellent work from MANY people on the EEC-IV list, we had a
working prototype in about 4 months. The first time I sat in my car with
the prototype and had 2 programs loaded, stock idle and 1200rpm idle, and
switched between them while the engine was running -- I almost split my face
with the grin that was appearing on it.
We have seen many customers have the same experience
and are very proud of what we have accomplished, we feel that we are bringing a
COMPLETE product to market for which the home enthusiast can afford and benefit
from. The original product was not nearly as polished as the new
models, we will finally have a user manual to help you get over the hump of
learing to use CalEdit and associated software.
Below you can see my work area, this is where I spend
90% of my time each day. A bit more to the left is my soldering and
assembly area -- it was too messy to take a picture of -- which will be going
"bye bye" now that we have a turnkey solution for manufacturing.
Well actually, I still assemble the calibration switches, but I can do that at
the work area seen below.
