Here is a scanned image of my 05/20/2000
dyno pulls at SpeedWorks in Dallas, I was there meeting with my
business partner and for this event organized by Wes "Wa2Fas"
Tarbox. The first pull is without the TwEECer installed, just running
off of the stock A3M calibration.
NOTE: my initial timing is set to 10deg [where the EEC expects it
to be] and I could have picked up at least 15+ hp by advancing it
to 16-18deg initial. There were quite a few people there and time
was short so I could not adjust the timing, so my real baseline
should have been ~270rwhp & ~310rwtq. Don't
want anyone thinking I am fudging the #'s, I will get to the dyno
again and do it RIGHT the next time. These were 3 consecutive pulls
an the ONLY adjustment I made was to the "WOT fuel multiplier
vs RPM" function. Since SpeedWorks had a wideband, it was quite
easy to target my 13.1:1 A/F ratio and what a differnce!!! Now obviously
I did not have much tuning to do as I have tweaked on my tune for
a while, but you can see the difference [though not quite as dramatic
as it seems] of a good 25rwhp and 15rwtq with the proper tune.

Troy Eiland
1986 5.0L GT
Vortech S-Trim pushing 11-12psi through GT-40, TFS-TW, ProM,
42lb inj
Troy has been "TwEECing" his
tune for a while, so we were quite surprised how much we were getting
out of his car. Again, we were just fine tuning the A/F ratios on
our setups and you can see how Troy was getting more power/torque
each time. He would have hit near 520rwhp
on the last pull, but the nipple covering the connection for the
removed FMU, blew off and boost fell off!!!

I went and got the car dynoed again today after installing
the 83# injectors. I knew beforehand that the car was running pretty
crappily, and took that into account when tuning. The first pass
was a crappy 499.3/492.4 with the A/F ratio going less than 10:1
at 4600. A few pulls later with help from my trusty tweecer yielded
612 rwhp @ 6150 and 526.9 rwtq @ 6100
rpm.
